Bond Outerwear is an independent snowboard clothing company, founded in 2008 by friends and snowboarders Dan McNamara and Christian Didrichsen of Working Holiday distribution. Since its inception, Bond has been committed to a progressive agenda of carbon neutrality and adheres strictly to a top down sustainability model in its operations.
Every single product Bond makes uses a combination of recycled and repurposed materials with very few, if any, new materials. Outer shells are made of recycled PET from plastic bottles. Jacket and pant snaps, buttons and zipper pulls are made from reclaimed industrial grade plastic pellets. Even their moisture wicking lining system is constructed from a blend of discarded coconut shells and virgin polyester.
Bond makes the most advanced outerwear they can while utilizing the most environmentally responsible manufacturing and logistics techniques possible. At Bond they believe there are certain ways that things should be done, and that's how they do them.
