Holden Outerwear

Holden Outerwear was founded professional snowboarder Mike LeBlanc, professional skateboarder Chris Miller and designer Scott Zergebel. LeBlanc and Zergebel met while designing one of the first custom softgoods lines for M3 Snowboards. The line was a huge success, and it left LeBlanc determined to pursue his own dream of creating outerwear with cuts and detailing inspired by streetwear. In 2002, the Holden brand was launched. It was infused with elements of style, functionality and environmental respect to create a refined and wearable aesthetic.

Although Holden doesn't market itself as an eco-friendly company, it has been raising industry standards for environmental consciousness for nearly a decade. In 2006, Holden won an award from the Worth Global Style Network for its development of an entirely new and groundbreaking fabric. This fabric is made of hemp and recycled plastic bottles and is waterproof as well as breathable. For Holden, being environmentally conscious has never been a business move, just simply the right way to do business.
